This is an open contest call for all animal photo enthusiasts - from the seasoned pet photographers to the budding shutterbugs. Explaining the Pet Photo Contest:
NAT PHOTO SOCIETY welcomes all animal photographers & emerging shutter-freaks from all corners of the globe to participate in our acclaimed competition themed around pets, birds & wild animals. No matter how many milestones you’ve achieved or if you're just starting as an amateur, we are excited to see how you capture the cozy corners of a dog’s shelter, shoot species in flight, or snap the impenetrable hideouts of a cat’s den in your classy shots. We are eager to hear the compelling stories through your best animal snaps that would stir emotions, and bring the spirit of these lovable creatures to the fore. Freeze a cat’s epic leap or a hummingbird’s fleeting wings in your master shots, as pure and natural as they can be.

For great shots, you don’t always have to scout into the deepest jungles—sometimes, you can grab the best moments in the most unexpected places. Keep your eyes open, your lens ready, and let the magic unfold before you!
Determination of Winners
We have a panel of experts to evaluate submissions based on creativity, composition, technical excellence, and storytelling skills of the shutter-bugs.
Image Specifications
Participants for Dog Photography Contest or Bird Photography Contest make sure your pictures adhere to the following guidelines:

You must submit original images. Stock images are not allowed.

You can use any device including your smartphone to click the images.
-
You must own all images submitted, or you should have the right to represent them on behalf of the photographer.

Your submissions may have copyright symbols, watermarks, names, or logos but they must be faint and not hinder the jurying process.

All images must be in JPG or JPEG format with a minimum quality of (90%) or higher.
-
Make sure to resize your pictures to 1000 pixels on the longest dimension.

All files must be less than 2 MB.

You can make basic adjustments to the images as long as they don’t alter their content. For example, adjusting contrast, exposure, dust removal, etc., is acceptable.

Do not make adjustments by adding or removing an element from the image.

We only accept bleed photographs except for polaroids or other processes that make borders an inherent part of the image.

You have the widest bounds to interpret the category of this animal photo contest in your instinctive way. Push your creative limits!

Entry Fee
The entry fee for each image in this animal photography competition varies from $4 - $10 based on the number of entries made. For the maximum number of entries made, each image only costs $4 to enter. This is a non-refundable fee.
The breakdown is as follows:
$10 for 1 photo - $10/entry
$25 for up to 3 photos - $8.33/entry
$35 for up to 5 photos - $7/entry
$45 for up to 7 photos - $6.43/entry
$50 for up to 10 photos - $5/entry
$90 for up to 20 photos - $4.50/entry
$100 for up to 25 photos - $4/entry
* Cash prizes to the best Photographers are always sent via PayPal by direct bank transfer. If the recipient doesn’t have a PayPal account, you can create on HERE.
** Depending on the quality and quantity of submissions, additional finalists will be awarded certificates of recognition for each category.
